flashback series: woodstock promo

A friend of mine has a framed original of the woodstock festival poster at his house. i’d never read the promotional copy that was written for the event until then, but let me tell you – i almost fell down his stairs upon reading it. man, times were REALLY different.

here are are my favorite parts…

under the ‘art show’ header:
“paintings and sculptures on trees…”
“would-be artists, ghetto artists and accomplished artists will be glad to discuss the unspoiled splendor of the surroundings, or anything else that might be on your mind…”

under the ‘crafts bazaar’ header:
“you’ll love roaming around our bazaar for camp clothes and worn-out shoes”
“if you like molding clay, stop by one of our workshops and see what you can give and take”

under the ‘food’ header:
“there will be dozens of curious food and fruit combinations to experiment with”

…and the best part, which was the pricing grid:
“one day $7.00, two days $13.00, three days $18.00″
