harmonia school – google adwords campaign

this weekend, i completed set-up on a google ad campaign for harmonia school of music and art in vienna va. they have a new website and seek to promote an early bird special on registration for their summer programs – $35 off. i’m guessing that many of you are curious about how to make these type of campaigns work for your organization. if you’ve got two hours to sit down with me and $225 to spend, then i can take care of the rest. new customers save 10% to $202.50, and fairfax county recreation guide advertisers save 20% to $185.

harmonia owner chonghae durak and her husband did not know much about this type of advertising until we sat down at their school. i laid out the basic philosophy and best practices (i run them successfully for my businesses) and answered all of their questions. then i walked them through the account set-up all the way through placing the first ad live. this first session took just over 2 hours.

two days later (after durak completed a brief homework assignment), i added four more ads to bring the total within the campaign to five, and i revised a few small details. we identified several next steps, most of which are one hour projects ($75 each), and are watching as the initial data and results collect. we’re deciding upon how often we’ll meet to review the stats together, adjust the campaign and explore other initiatives.
