adagio ballet – advertising

i completed work this week on new advertising for adagio ballet – the premier dance studio for ballet/jazz/tap in fairfax and arlington counties, va. hristo marintchev is easily one of my favorite clients – an energetic entrepreneur, it consultant, dance enthusiast and guitarist. he and i went back and forth on the offer and are excited to see how it performs in the forthcoming fairfax county recreation guide.

“you want to be on the first page.”

this is what a close friend and colleague said quite simply when asked what defined excellence in “organic” search engine rankings. it certainly makes sense to me. we all know that people are impulsive on the internet, and we know that there are likely other matches on that first page who are poised to wisk them away. thankfully, i’m in the top ten with one or more of my websites for dozens of searches that are key to my business. how can you do the same? for starters, you can hire me to help you – i have a flat rate service to get us started. second, you can read a few helpful tips here. one thing you can’t afford to do. you can’t sit back in a down economy and let your competitors steal prospects away from you.

promote like the four guys – captain morgan ad

watch a funny commercial from captain morgan that shows what happens when four guys produce a poster to raise their profile near a popular nightclub. reminded me that now is a great time to step out of the pack and make your statement. people are easily impressed of late by those who are doing well in the down economy – even when the feel good is being generated by nothing more than a public relations campaign (and not actual results). “wow, the four guys…you guys must be doing really well these days” says one of the ladies. “why? you seen our posters?” replies one of the four guys.

cue recording – advertising

some ads are not designed for a quick revenue bump. the sales cycle could be a longer and messier process for the business. many business owners are careful not to “cheapen” their brand by playing too hard on a offer.

some ads are designed to exude a high level of confidence, to raise a company’s profile for when a customer is ready to use services and to support a higher transaction amount due to superior product quality/delivery. such was the case with an ad i completed recently for cue recording (falls church va). they have a tradition that dates back 25 years, recently invested in major technology upgrades and want to recommit to building their corporate portfolio. they already have more gold and platinum record experience that many other mid-atlantic studios!
