Posted on May 24th, 2009 No commentspepsi originally launched a series of ads with the slogan “come alive with the pepsi generation.” little did they know, the chinese transalation was “pepsi brings your ancestors back from the grave.” wow – that’s some powerful stuff right there! in the mid 1960s, pepsi switched to “come alive! you’re in the pepsi generation!” that’s what you see featured in this classic ad. you have to love the drive-up vending machine!

college students feeling stressed and depressed
Posted on May 22nd, 2009 No commentsan alarming percentage of college students are struggling with stress and depression. eighty-five percent of college students surveyed in an associated press-mtvu poll reported feeling stressed in their daily lives in recent months. worries about grades, school work, money and relationships were the big culprits. 42 percent said they had felt down, depressed or hopeless several days during the past two weeks, and 13 percent showed signs of being at risk for at least mild depression. yikes, this is scary. it’s not like it gets easier after college for most of us!
