Another Hot Lead!

unlike the hot lead from last week that came through a client’s website, this one came through this website. the prospect googled “DVD artwork MD” in hopes of finding someone to assist his company with a series of dvd packaging needs. this website ranks second on the first page at google for that search! He clicked over to my blog and read a few entries, then completed the “get started” form with the details that follow. we’re set to meet the first of next week. click on for the email i received (with details removed for privacy, of course).

How Maintaining a Blog Helps Your Business

i consulted with a 51-year old business owner today who confessed that he struggles a bit with the notion and habit of blogging, twittering and the like. i think a ton of folks in his generation are in the same boat. while not a conclusive list, i rattled off a few key reasons why he should make a better effort to maintain a regular blog on his business website. we’re meeting soon to discuss the types of content to write, who will write and the schedule that’s reasonable to maintain. click on for the list.

A fun video in tribute to rickey henderson being elected into the baseball hall of fame today in cooperstown, ny. he was one of the most colorful characters the game of baseball has ever seen. if you don’t know, i’m an avid fan of the game and still play at a competitive level for 2-7 games each week during the washington summer.
