  thanks to colleague ann chaitovitz for a great article from variety magazine on artists’ rights on the radio airwaves. this is one issue that is not about healthcare reform but is sure to have also emotions running high – where lobbying has sunk into innuendo, personal attacks and racial politics, and where the economic future of giant industries is at stake. the senate judiciary committee re-convenes on august 4th.
