yep – people compare me to ari gold from hbo’s hit show entourage. fine with me! he’s one of the funniest characters on television, and he’s a great agent. he’s even bringing the ying with a softer this season. too much.

can you place the name to these social media icons? sorry to report, but there will be no fancy prizes (or any prize for that matter). you just get to feel like you’re up to speed – or something of that nature. warning: this is not quite as much fun as building a farm, or pretending to be a vampire, or wishing you were italian, or stalking acquaintances, etc..

here’s are a short list of simple things that every business owner should be doing – and i’m willing to bet that most of you don’t do these things often (if ever). call your own phone line(s). email your company’s inboxes. complete and submit those forms on your website. see what happens. i know – this is such a yawn fest. oh contraire! i can’t tell you how many times business owners are surprised by what they find. the assumption that all is working as it should is very dangerous. sometimes the simplest items get overlooked – like the basic routing of prospects and customers to somebody who can help them get what they need.

the new york yankees have clinched the american league pennant, and i had frank sinatra’s new york, new york in my head all day today. now, i’m really fired up for wednesday night’s start to the world series. it was a lot of fun to see all the support and excitement from my new jersey and new york friends last night on facebook and twitter. see below for how a few broadcasters called the final out of the deciding game 6.
