Meet The Doggetts Feature

Below is the original feature I ran when I was introducing, promoting and handling advance ticket sales for the show. It was a sell out on a wednesday night — not an easy or normal feat!

“Meet The Doggetts” is a musical variety show set to hit the stage of Jammin’ Java on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 7:30pm. The four act lineup features the musical talents of father Tony Doggett and his three sons — Brad, Ben and Clinton. Tony has served an extensive career in the Foreign Service, playing pop frontman in the Tony Doggett Band and charting a top 40 hit in Zimbabwe. Brad is a teen heartthrob, with several hip hop/r&b music videos netting close to a million views on YouTube. Ben is advancing a debut record and leads the music ministry at Christ Our Shepherd Church in Washington DC. Clinton has been touring to San Francisco and back with the rock band More Humans to promote their Enamel Records EP.

Together, the Doggetts are Northern Virginia’s phenomenal pop family — performing for the first time on one stage. Co-produced by Eric S. Townsend and Tony Doggett. Booking and Promotions by Eric S. Townsend through SplashKit. Paste Magazine calls Jammin’ Java “one of the top 40 music venues in America.” AOL CityGuide and The Washington Post recognize the venue as “Best Place to Hear Live Music” and “Best Coffeeshop.”
